Leveling System
At Crest Coast challenging someone to a battle of magic happens frequently, but how does one measure the outcome of a fight if there is no way of telling how much stronger one person is from another. This level system will cover how much experience is gained from a battle, and what is gained from leveling up, so on and so forth. Below is a leveling chart so be sure to read over it. How experience is determined, is each battle won you gain 1 whole experience point. Each level requires a certain number of experience points to be earned in order to advance to the next. Normally in battle you gain 1 whole experience point after every victory. Now although that is the case here there is also a bonus experience added depending on your level. This makes leveling simple but at the same time not as easy as you'd think. After a certain amount of levels your experience capacity increases and more battles will need to be completed in order to level again. Keep in mind that experience does roll over to your new level. so say you are level 4 and your exp cap is 4.5/5, you win a battle against someone who is level 3 and you gain 1XP plus an additional .5XP totaling 1.5XP. that means that you gained more XP than what was need to level up. you had 4.5/5 and only needed 0.5XP to reach level 5, in this instance you gained 1.5, meaning .5 was used to level you up, but the additional 1 was added to a fresh Experience cap. Also do note that rations can only be received by leveling up. Depending on the persons level depends on your Rations gained, also depending on whether you are a student (1st, 2nd or 3rd year) or a teacher determines the total rations obtained and the total rations you start off with:
